Reports have come from CDC and this was on 19 February 2010. as per this the activity of swine flu has drastically declined. There is no widespread activity reported in any state in USA. Only regional activity has been reported in South Carolina, Georgi and Alabama

Emphysema is a progressive, chronic condition that just gets worse overtime. It cannot just go away. If you still smoke with emphysema you need to quit immediately as this will only make the condition worse.
