Breastfeeding if you have a cold

When you have a cold, or any illness, your body makes antibodies to fight off whatever illness you have. By continuing to breastfeed your child at that time, you give those antibodies to your child. By the time you get a cold, or any illness, your baby has already been exposed. If you stop breastfeeding, you take away the antibodies from your baby.
