Who was the first person to discover asthma

Hippocrates (a Greek physician) was the first person to use the term “asthma” to describe a medical condition. It was in 450 BC that Hippocrates grouped specific symptoms into a condition called asthma. However, references to asthma stem back into ancient medical texts and a Greek-Roman doctor.
