Why do we cough
Cough can be caused due to various reasons. Most of the times, this is because of excess mucus or irritant matter from external sources Smoke, dirt, household cleaners etc that lays on the respiratory tract causes cough. The body tries to get rid of the substances by pushing it upwards violently.
