Boxer dog kennel cough


Pets, like humans, will fall ill from time to time. In the case of boxer dogs, this may include a tendency to come down with a persistent cough from time to time. When that occurs, there are numerous ways a pet owner can go about curing their boxer of a cough.

  1. They may be caused by viral infections that cannot be treated with antibiotics. In some cases antibiotics may be necessary e.g. if you have an underlying bacterial infection but in many cases coughs and chest infections will not be helped by antibiotics.

  2. When I adopted my dog from the pound she had kennel cough really bad. She had it for about three months. I went to two different vets and tried 3 different medications.
