How is lung cancer diagnosed


A series of tests are done to diagnose a patient with symptoms of lung cancer. The initial investigation for possible lung cancer in primary care is a chest X-ray. If cancer is thought to be a possibility in cases, repeat radiology is usually recommended. The radiology can be x-rays, CT scan. Lab tests may also be required.
