Dying from lung cancer is certainly painful as with any chronic disease. As the cancer spreads to other parts of the body, it shows its effects at a greater magnitude. Consequently as the disease is prolonged, it gets painful. When cancer is in the bones it causes great pain in the back. Similarly, when it reaches the brain, the vision is hampered and the body balance is disturbed. At the last stage, the patient suffers from intense pain and is kept on ventilators due to breathing problems.
