It depends upon the stage of the cancer. However, at any stage, you must immediately quit smoking (if patient smokes). As soon as the smoking is stopped, the damaged cells start to recover. Secondly, diet must mainly comprise of fruits and vegetables. Some doctor must be consulted treatment procedures like surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
