Bacterial keratitis contagious

Keratitis is the inflammation of the eye’s cornea, which causes pain and blurred vision. Bacterial infection of the cornea can be caused by an injury or from wearing contact lenses. Keratitis is sometimes mistaken for conjunctivitis. While conjunctivitis is contagious, there’s no evidence to prove that bacterial keratitis is contagious.
