Medicines bought over the counter are not recommended for infants or children under 4. It’s very unsafe to give any cough medicine to children below 4 years. Saline drops inserted in the nose and then removed by suction will permit easy breathing in your child. Installing a humidifier in the room will also help your child to breathe properly.
