People with COPD should live in a place that does not have allergens. They should locate a place where there is no carpet at home. There should be no incineration or smoke or fumes of any sort. Intake of diary products and usage of leaf blowers, fertilizers, aerosols should be eliminated. It is better not to have pets and fur clothing. Perfumes and artificial fragrances need to be avoided too. Toxins from lacquers and paints should be kept at bay
