Yes it can be possible but rare . Eczema is pretty consistent from patient to patient. It easily be transmitted from one person to another .

people believe them to be the same skin disease, but there are considerable differences in appearance and treatments. Both cause itching and discomfort. Psoriasis is synonymous with itchy, flaky skin while skin flaking is mostly absent in cases of eczema.

The eczema affects the growth/production of my fingernails and takes several months to begin to clear up. I’m in a wedding in October and am worried that it won’t be cleared up by then. I am currently using Elecon cream to treat my eczema on other areas and it works really well, but doesn’t seem to work on my fingernails at all. Any suggestions?

My three year old has dry circular patches on the back of both legs. He says they don’t itch but I don’t see how. They are about the size of a dime more or less. He was treated for strep throat about a month ago with that he developed scarlet fever. They stand out more after a bath (they appear red). Any ideas on what this could be?

Eczema is generally erupts in response to environmental factors such as exposure to products containing harsh chemicals. Psoriasis, on the other hand, usually has a genetic link, and is a response to factors occurring inside of the body. Eczema is commonly mistaken to be the same thing as Psoriasis, which often appears after an infection such as strep throat. However, I have heard of no cases of contracting Eczema after infection.

Strep throat for sure, I have a friend who had it and looked up online that you can physically remove that white patch with a long q-tip and it will make some pain go away. That’s what he did, I don’t know if you should do the same as I wouldn’t recommend it unless you think you know what your doing. But your gonna need to go to the doctor.

Strep throat is so common that it is almost a ritual of childhood. Today we can think of strep throat as a fairly minor illness because of antibiotics. Before the antibiotic era, however, strep throat caused thousands of cases of serious illness every year

Actually yes. There is nothing to stop having exzema and any other infection at the same time. Unless one infection is able to destroy the other. Some fungal infections can change the celluar ph levels so bacteria can’t survive for example. Hope that helps.
