Monolaurin is a 12-carbon long fatty acid prepared into a mono-ester of lauric acid. Monolaurin is an immune component given to babies through breast milk. But monolaurin can be taken for mononucleosis because it is helpful for immune support. It effects well but not more than the antibiotic.
